The experience at the just-concluded GTCO Food and Drinks Festival 2023 is one that will be relished for years to come by the speakers, vendors, international tourists, and local attendees at the event. This feeling was expressed by a Thai chef, Jutamas Theantae who spoke at a masterclass with the theme ‘Cooking with Thai Spices’.

Speaking with pressmen attended by Trek Africa Newspaper on the sidelines of the event, Theatae said: ‘I have been cooking for 25 years using Thai foods and spices. I am here to spread the knowledge. I will like to introduce jollof rice and afang soup and boiled plantain to Thailand because I have enjoyed it. I am in love with what you have here.’
Jutamas Theatae advised other chefs to ‘put your heart into what you do. It is about your happiness. Cooking is like painting, it is nox fixed to one formula. Be free to express yourself.’
