APC AREWA LAGOS CHAIRMAN, YUSUF: ‘INEC DID VERY WELL’

The Chairman of Arewa Community in APC Lagos, Alhaji Saad Yusuf has rated Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for their performance in the Gubernatorial and House of Assembly elections which took place yesterday.
Speaking to Trek Africa Newspaper at his Agege residence yesterday, he declared: ‘I am not supporting APC only in Lagos but throughout the nation. In the last election, some people used religious and tribal sentiment to divert people’s attention but with God’s intervention, everything came to pass and Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Senator Kashim Shettima won the presidential election. By God’s Grace we are going to have renewed hope.’

‘For today’s election, people came out but not as expected. The youth are not on ground to cast their votes. Today INEC did very well. They came very early before 9am not like the last one when they were not on ground early. Their equipment is very effective. You can’t vote without PVC and you can’t vote without BVAS capturing you.’
On the second term of Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, he said: ‘Sanwo-Olu will emerge for second term despite the crises. Insha Allah by tomorrow we will hear good news that Sanwo-Olu has won.’
