Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s telephone conversation with some youths yesterday evening demonstrates that he is a true democrat, accessible, humane, welcoming and supports the youths in their peaceful #EndSARS protests
Despite the aggressive manner the youths engaged him, he managed to explain the Issues and debunked the fake news making the rounds on social media.
He did not know the callers yet he took their calls and explained to them he does not own LCC and has no powers to deploy soldiers.
He also confirmed that he heard the report of the pandemonium at the toll gate and the alleged shootings like all of them did. He Had no prior knowledge of the deployment.
He reiterated that Governor Babajide Sanwo-olu has ordered investigations into the matter and everyone should remain calm, keep safe and be law abiding.
