The Honourable Commissioner for Youth Development and Social Development in Lagos State, Hon. Mobolaji Ogunlende RAK highlighted the importance of brotherliness and patriotism as a thrust for national development, Trek Africa Newspaper can report.
He gave this message to youths at a Ramadan Lecture which held in honour and memory of the late matriarch of the Tinubu’s, Alhaja Dr. Abibatu Mogaji. The Ramadan Lecture was hosted by the Deputy Majority Leader of Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Adedamola Richard Kasunmu (fondly called Hon. ARK).

The Commissioner noted that as youths, ‘we have to become good citizens, be our brother’s keeper and do the right thing. This will make us to live together as a community. We can then talk about development of our state and country Nigeria.’
The youth champion and Founder of Random Acts of Kindness (RAK) Foundation added: ‘I am telling youths that we need to continue to be of good conduct, good character, and respect the elders.’

As it is done by Hon. Kasunmu to honour the late matriarch, Ogunlende wants youths to emulate the good deed. ‘I also want us to be able to give our late parents due remembrance whenever it happens because it is clear that everyone will pass away at one point or another’, he remarked.
