PRESIDENT NAOWA APPLAUDS NDA COMMANDANT FOR SUCCESSFUL PASSING OUT PARADE

The President of the Nigerian Army Officers’ Wives Association (NAOWA), Mrs Mariya Abiodun Lagbaja, has applauded the Commandant Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) Major General John Ochai for a successful Passing Out Parade (POP) for cadets of Regular Course 70 and Direct Short Service Courses (27 Army and 31 Air Force).
Mrs Lagbaja gave the commendation recently at the NAOWA National secretariat, Abuja when she played host to the Commandant NDA on a courtesy visit.
The NAOWA President also described the POP as very colourful, and one which had all the hallmarks of an excellent regimental parade.
In his remarks, the NDA Commandant thanked the NAOWA President for gracing the POP with members of her team, and expressed his gratitude for the warm reception accorded him despite the short short notice to the NAOWA Headquarters.
The Commandant thereafter pledged the support of the NDA to NAOWA in any area needed, assuring that the Academy would always be available to support the Association in attainment of the President’s vision of, “Sustaining Legacies Through Unwavering Commitment to Unity and Service for the Betterment of Humanity.”
Highlights of the visit were the interactive session, presentation of plaques and group photographs.
