MATICO Steps Down for Nike Osoba Ademokun as APC Consensus Candidate in Obafemi Owode

Hon. Olúwaṣeun Adebowale, popularly known as MATICO, has officially stepped down his aspiration for the Ogun State House of Assembly seat representing Obafemi Owode Constituency ahead of the 2027 general election, declaring support for Hon. Nike Osoba Ademokun as the sole consensus candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
In a congratulatory message released from his office, Adebowale described the decision as one taken in the interest of equity, justice, inclusiveness, and the overall progress of the constituency.
According to him, extensive consultations with party leaders, stakeholders, elders, and loyal party members influenced the move to support Ademokun, who hails from the Ọba Zone, in order to strengthen unity, fairness, and political stability within the constituency.
He expressed confidence in Ademokun’s ability to provide quality representation and purposeful leadership capable of attracting meaningful development to Obafemi Owode Constituency.
Adebowale also appreciated his supporters, friends, and political associates for their loyalty and encouragement throughout his political journey, urging them to rally behind the APC consensus candidate to ensure victory for the party in the 2027 elections.
He further emphasized the need for continued peace, development, and inclusive representation across Obafemi Owode Constituency.
