APC: SALAWU ‘DULLAR’ APPLAUDS TINUBU ON EMPHASIS TO HOLD PRIMARIES IN SOMOLU

The foremost and most visible APC House of Representatives aspirant in Somolu Federal Constituency, Hon. Abdul Hamed Salawu ‘Dullar’, has applauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for insisting on democratic primary election to determine the candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Somolu Federal Constituency ahead of the 2027 general election.
Hon. Salawu ‘Dullar’, who celebrated his birthday last week with multimillion naira empowerment programmes across Somolu-Bariga, described the President’s emphasis on primaries as a courageous demonstration of fairness, justice and genuine democratic leadership. According to him, President Tinubu has once again distinguished himself as a true democrat and visionary leader who believes strongly in the collective will of the people rather than imposition, manipulation or political intimidation capable of creating unnecessary division within the party.
The respected grassroots politician further maintained that transparent primary election would strengthen unity, peace and confidence among party members across Somolu Federal Constituency. He stated that the APC remains a progressive family founded on democratic values, inclusiveness and equal opportunity for every qualified aspirant desirous of serving the people with competence, sincerity and unwavering dedication to community development.
Hon. Salawu also confidently declared that his outstanding track records of grassroots development, people-oriented programmes and impactful leadership clearly distinguish him among other aspirants contesting for the position. He highlighted his remarkable welfare packages for elderly citizens, massive youth empowerment initiatives, educational support programmes and several transformative projects executed during his tenure as Executive Chairman of Somolu Local Government.
Among the iconic projects delivered under his administration, Hon. Salawu proudly referenced the magnificent Senator Oluremi Tinubu Administrative Complex, Dr. Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu Primary Healthcare Centre which continues to stand as symbols of visionary leadership and purposeful governance in Somolu. As he express confidence of victory at the primaries, he therefore urged APC members to remain peaceful and united while expressing confidence that the party would emerge stronger and victorious through the credible democratic process championed by President Tinubu.
