HON. IBRAHIM RASAQ LEKAN BECOMES NEW CHAIRMAN OF COKER-AGUDA LCDA, POINTS OUT TOP FIVE AREAS OF IMPACT

The new Chairman of Coker-Aguda LCDA, Hon. Rasaq Olamilekan Ibrahim was full of praises to God and the people of Coker-Aguda for the rare opportunity which was accorded to him at the just-concluded LG/LCDA polls in Lagos. He made this known to Oki Samson of Trek Africa Newspaper at the swearing-in ceremony which took place yesterday. He declared: ‘I give glory to God Almighty. With God’s Grace, everything will turn out fine for me and my team. We are ready to work and deliver.’

He stated that his top five areas will ‘include education, security and healthcare. I was the former Supervisor of Health and I have seen the way things are. So we want to work on bringing more equipment so that we can be able to serve the community better and we are going to train our nurses on how to relate with the community.’

The 35-year old Chairman added: ‘In youth empowerment, we have a structure on ground which is the skill acquisition centre. We are going to start work immediately. We will use sports to bring everyone together alongside the job opportunity we are creating so that the youth can be able to enjoy the new government. Most of my team is youth and we are going to make youth proud’.

The former Supervisor of Health at the council noted that his government will be inclusive as he will bring everyone together so that we can move the community forward.
