HON. FALEKE FACILITATES EMPOWERMENT SUPPORT BY NIGERIAN PORTS AUTHORITY FOR IKEJA FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY WITH BUSINESS TOOLS

The Federal lawmaker representing Ikeja Federal Constituency and Chairman, House Committee on Finance, Rt. Hon. James Abiodun Faleke has facilitated Empowerment support programme for the residents of Ikeja Federal Constituency through the Nigerian Ports Authority.

In a press statement e-signed and released to Ojodu Watch News by the Lawmaker’s media team stated that, “The Nigerian Ports Authority empowered constituents in Ikeja federal constituency. The empowerment programme was held today Friday 24th September, 2021 at the council hall in Ikeja local government Secretariat.”

According to the statement, “The Business tools/equipments totalling 190 were distributed to small scale business operators. Equipment distributed were hair  driers, Sewing machines, and Grinding machines.”

The empowerment programme is one of the numerous Corporate Social Responsibility of Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) for constituents in Ikeja federal constituency and it was facilitated by Rt. Hon. James Abiodun Faleke.

The representative of the MD of NPA Mr R.O. Oni in his remark implore the beneficiaries to be prudent and innovative in the usage of the tools, stating that top business icons in the country today started this little before expanding and growing bigger, while the APC party chairman of Ikeja LGA Alh. Dally Adeokun in his remark commended Rt Hon James Faleke for his quality representation that has immensely  benefited the constituency. He also appeal to the beneficiaries to make good use of what they were given.

The programme was graciously attended by party leaders and stakeholders in Ikeja Federal Constituency.
