HON. AJIDE CONSTRUCTS FOUR MORE ROADS IN SURULERE

By OKI SAMSON

Hon. Tajudeen Ajide, Executive Chairman, Surulere local Government at the Site of the Ongoing Road Construstion in Surulere.

-Scorecard of road projects hits 40 in only 2 years

Hon. Tajudeen Ajide, Executive Chairman, Surulere local Government supervising the interlocking paving stone surface finishing/concrete works ongoing in James Robertson Street in Surulere, Lagos.

Fuelled by his undying passion to make life worth living for the citizenry of Surulere Local Government, the Executive Chairman, Hon. Tajudeen Ajide is at it again.

Hon. Tajudeen Ajide has practically turned the streets to his office, Trek Africa Newspaper can authoritatively report! Many Surulere inhabitants, politicians, council staff, friends and associates can attest to the fact that in the last few weeks, the council chairman will either be found on Hakeem Dickson close, James Robertson Street, or another street where construction is ongoing. He is there in person to see to the successful completion of the projects.

The massive road construction involves interlocking paving stone surface finishing/concrete works on Joseph Single close, Faro Ojora close, Hakeem Dickson close and James Robertson Street. When these projects are delivered in a couple of weeks, it would total 40 roads that have been delivered by the LGA boss.

Drainage cleanup is also ongoing across the length and breadth of Surulere. It would be recalled that Masha-Kilo road, a major road connecting three local councils in the Surulere axis was recently commissioned by the Chairman.

Like Hon. Ajide will say ‘I want to leave legacy behind after my tenure in office. I ensure that I do today what counts now and thereafter’, he is truly living up to the high governance standards he has set for himself.
