Force CID Hqtrs Burst Into Excitement DIG Margaret Ochalla Bags 2026 Gender Sensitivity Award

The Nigeria Police Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) Abuja Headquarters has congratulated her leader, DIG Margaret Ochalla on her conferment with the 2026 Gender Sensitivity Award by the UFUK Dialogue Foundation Nigeria. This honor is in recognition of her outstanding commitment to promoting gender sensitivity, inclusiveness and peaceful coexistence in Nigeria, National Association of Online Security News Publishers, NAOSNP can report.
Ochalla was honoured under the Individual Award Category of the 2026 Peace and Dialogue Awards, organised by the UFUK Dialogue Foundation Nigeria in collaboration with the Institute for Peace and Conflict Resolution (IPCR).
In a press statement e-signed and released to the National Association of Online Security News Publishers, NAOSNP by the FCID Hqters’ PPRO, SP Funmilayo Eguaoje indicated that “the Force Criminal Investigation Department views the recognition of DIG Margaret Ochalla as not only a personal achievement but also a testament to the growing commitment of the Nigeria Police Force to gender-responsive policing, professional leadership, inclusiveness and the protection of the rights and dignity of all citizens. The award is described as a well-deserved recognition of DIG Margret Ochalla’s leadership and commitment to fostering an inclusive environment where professionalism, fairness and equal opportunity remain fundamental values being the only Female in the Nigeria Police Force Management Team was not a coincidence but testament of her hardworking, Honesty, Integrity and professionalism.”
