FG Commends Sa’adat Aliyu For Developing Sexual Abuse Reporting App

The Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Dr Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami FNCS, FBCS, FIIM on Monday officially presented a letter of commendation to the founder of Shamrock Innovation Hub, Miss Sa’adat Aliyu.
The commendation was in recognition of the app developed by Ms Aliyu, (Helpio App) which is aimed at assisting in reporting sexual abuses.
Ms Aliyu was officially presented with the letter in a brief ceremony held at the Communications and Digital Economy Complex, Abuja.
The Honourable Minister, Dr Pantami further directed the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) to liaise with the young startup, mentor her, monitor her progress and support the system under the stipulated regulation.
The Minister, Dr Pantami applauded the initiative, stressing that ICT innovation and entrepreneurship is the way forward in wealth creation and providing the solutions to problems affecting society.
