ANTI-TINUBU PROTEST: ODUMAKIN IS PDP AGENT- Olulayode Salako

L-R: Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and Comrade Yinka Odumakin

Yinka Odumakin is PDP. We know where he has been getting his money joblessly and self-servingly from. He is not ‘Afenifere’, but ‘afenifera’ and ‘afenifebi’. He should shut up! And, stop working for the enslavement of the Yorubas by people of other ethnic nationalities in our own land.

I hear he is the one behind the promotion of the ‘Otoge’ jargons against the political leadership of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu in Lagos. This is very irresponsible of him!

And, I want to say to him, if he is privileged to read this, that true Yoruba sons and daughters as well as political and social activists like us, will not continue to allow him to garrulously do all these stupid things on behalf of all of us in Yoruba land any longer.

The ‘Otoge’ rubbish, he is trying to promote and incite against the general interest of all of us, the constituents of the Yoruba nation in Nigeria, will not work and cannot survive here, because Lagos and no part of the Yoruba land, is in ‘bondage’ of crude political leadership; bad governance and irresponsible governments like we hear they have it in the states of those, who are covetously aiming to hijack political power in Lagos and Yoruba land through the democracy and Yinka’s complicity door.

Asiwaju Bola Tinubu is the Awolowo of our time and so, he remains one the most loved, cherished and accepted personalities for this present Yoruba race as its national, social and political leader.

The Yoruba race is a cultural race, which deserves a leader. The national politics of the Yoruba race cannot be a leaderless race, lest we lose it all to serious and gravious maltreatment and marginalization to the rest of Nigeria some day.

Yoruba nation continues to deserve an astute representative political leader, and Asiwaju is the chosen one by God and providence itself.

He has been playing that role excellently well and the rest of us in Yoruba land, shall continue to support him and cherish his concerted, intelligent and philanthropic contributions whole heartedly.

Asiwaju has impacted postively on the national relevance and prominence of the larger Yoruba politics. He has impacted virtuously to make life better for many Yoruba sons and daughters. He has made many successful politically and economically. He is about the only known socially benevolent political leader of note in the present Yoruba nation, who has done so much to improve the lot of the Yoruba people.

He is kind hearted; fatherly endowed; patriotically virtuous; generally accommodating; loving and philanthropically there for his people. He is a giver and the master of the game of progressive and contemporary politics in Nigeria.

So, we dissociate and reject in its entirety and completely from the alleged latest ‘Otoge’ menace and onslaught of the Yinka Odumakin and co. to continue to present the Yoruba race as an irresponsible race; a political weakling and slave to the rest of the world.

I repeat, Lagos is never in ‘bondage’ of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, but his satisfactory political leadership and gracious influence, because Lagos has been growing, progressing and working geometrically well for the enjoyment of the rest of the people of Nigeria – living, coming and doing one or two things with Lagos over the many years.

Lagos has been working, peacefully accommodating and so, the like of indolent and political jobber character like Yinka, should not continue to promote and incite people of other ethnic nationalities in Nigeria against the political progress and stability of Lagos or any other parts of the Yoruba land. His own is just too much! Haba!!

It is also worthy of note to state that, weather anybody would believe it or not, politically and economically, the Yoruba land remains about the only part of Nigeria the other people of Nigeria, can always find very peaceful, accommodating and very comfortable to live in today’s Nigeria.

Yorubas, unlike what happens in other parts of Nigeria, have been cerebrally and reasonably accommodating, peaceful, loving and tolerant to the people of other ethnic nationalities in Nigeria over time.

And so, our compensation for that socio-cultural magnanimity, should never be in the rebellion, to continue to malign and work against our political interest as a section of a tribe has been presenting in recent time.

The gains of our being good to other people of Nigeria, should not continue to make us lose our political sovereignty and developmental interest to the people we accommodate. Weather some people will like it or not, we all have our natural and tribal places we come from in Nigeria. We have states we call our states.

Yes! Democracy is about the the free will of the people to choose their leaders, but never will the Yorubas allow the will of their visitors to dominate the governance and how they deserve to be governed in their God given natural and cultural places.

There are 36 states and one federal capital territories in Nigeria, divided in line with the territorial and ethic lineage of each people of Nigeria. But, it is not part of the definition of democracy for the Igbos and co. to come from their own states to come and rule over the political territories of the Yoruba states. The Igbos too have not allowed it and I don’t think they will ever allow it.

The Igbos, Hausas, Deltans and co. have their own places, and they are ruling over it. No Yoruba man, has been democratically and ‘gragraly’ struggling with the political leadership and governance of their own places. And, so we do not also expect people of other ethnic nationalities to come here and start struggling with political domination in our own place. It is very wrong and it is not right!

Yes! We are all Nigerians, but the political territories of Nigeria have been divided into 37. Let the Igbos continue to be in charge of the political control of their places; let the Hausas run their own; Let the Edo people govern their places and we, Yorubas, too likewise, in line with our cultural and ethnic tenets and values.

However, it is not right for the people of other ethnic nationalities in Nigeria, especially the Igbos, to continue to hide under the guise of democracy to be struggling for the domination of our own political space, during each and every election time in Nigeria. This is not right! And, can never be right!

If the way the Igbos and co. are struggling for the political domination of Yoruba land, because the Yorubas are liberally accommodating, is the same way it is in other parts of Nigeria, then it may not make any meaning to a politically sensitive and conscious Yoruba man like me.

But, it is not so across Nigeria. It is only seemingly in Yoruba land that this is happening. It is only in Yoruba land here we see the Igbos and co., pasting posters and claiming democracy gives them the right to rule over us! This is not right!

On this final note, I want to call on all those calling our sovereign political space ‘no man’s land’ to have a rethink, as no part of the Yoruba land, is ‘no man’s land’. Hence, Lagos can never be a ‘no man’s land’. It is purely a Yoruba land, because Lagos is in Yoruba land and within the sovereign space of the people of the South West region of Nigeria.

If nobody is calling any part of the North, South East and South South ‘no man’s land’, then people who are calling any part of the Yoruba land ‘no man’s land’ are only being an ingrate, covetous and unreasonable!

Lagos is one of the territorial spaces in Yoruba land. All the towns have Yoruba kings and rulers. The dominant culture of Lagos is the culture of the Yoruba and Awori people and has the traditional ‘Omo oniles’ (the native land owners). Moreso, the official language of the traditional people of Lagos is Yoruba language. So, why should such a beautiful Yoruba place be a ‘ no man’s land to the arrogance and political avarice of any other tribe in Nigeria?!

So, to keep calling Lagos a ‘no man’s land’, because you want to steal the political leadership and domination of Lagos, is sheer avarice, devilish, arrogance and accommodating ingratitude.

But, I won’t blame such people. It is Yoruba misnomers like Yinka Odumakin and co. that are giving them the impetus to continue to think, and act so.

I am reiterating it again, that Lagos is a Yoruba land and Asiwaju Bola Hammed Tinubu shall continue to supervise the activities of the political space and governance as its national political leader. That is the place of his hardwork! That is his reward for being a good leader to us all! That is the place of its destiny!

‘On this note, that Yinka Odumakin’s ‘Otoge’ nonsense will not work in Lagos, because Asiwaju, like Bukola Saraki, has not maltreated and betrayed his people. His name has not been mentioned in connection with any Offa bank robbery saga, and has not publicly betrayed his father and political party to the knowledge of his people.

Besides, Lagos has been growing, progressing and developing well for the good and sanity of all Lagos residents over the many years he has been in charge as a political leader.

So, Yinka Odumakin should shut up! go and comport himself; find an ideal job to do, and better still, be warned from inciting violence and political instability in Lagos or any part of Yoruba land.

Lagosians are not buying into his ‘Otoge’ crude, jobless and irresponsible agenda for his Igbo collaborators and co. in Lagos.

So, nobody should keep inciting and instigating people against that good leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu in Lagos. He does not deserve it especially from any true Yoruba person.

If we remove the name, political prominence and influence of Asiwaju from the National politics of the Yoruba race in the present day Nigeria, who else do we look up to, to always be there to sustain the national prominence of the Yoruba politics in Nigeria?!”
