ACAON TO CELEBRATE 19TH ANNIVERSARY WITH TRANING OF MEMBERS IN OYO
As Anticorruption Association Of Nigeria (ACAON) had their crucial Meeting held on the 17th November 2018 at the Federal Secretariat, Ibadan, Oyo State, they discoursed the issue of a new ID cares for members, Training and re-training of members, apart from this they also discus many things ranging from the forthcoming general election e.g, letter to the INEC by The National Secretary, audit report and the issue of registration was also look into.
Though the issue of INEC was step aside because according to the organization, INEC officers are not even sincere with the election they are conducting now, on like the issue of Osun and Ekiti. They know resolve that they will not participate for now and because the finance is not even there.
Scorpion Lakan Ayangunna from , stated that the members knows what to do but they just don’t want to do it, I think we need re-orientation, so that anybody who is find to be irresponsible will be showed the other way out, there must be a due process to follow. The national Executive should do something so that there be a way for the members to be attending meetings, we should be looking for solution, this organization have to start afresh, it is beta for us to try than not trying at all.
For scorpion scopion Tayo Osolake, From Ogun State, said for organization to stand firm is the work of the leaders, he advise that there should be a communication channel, member should be inform on the training issue for a period of long time maybe a mouth interval or more because they are all workers, we are all workers and we need to prepare ourselves ahead of time,
For Scorpion Duzey Nnice, also added that though Majority of them are not committed and that there is no organization in this world that is not contributing, we should start to contribute to uplift this organization, talking cannot do us any good, we should start to contribute something now, starting from this Month, so that we shall know where we are going next year, Dr. Nice,
Scorpion Kayode, National Secretary of ACAON, advise that they need youth carpers that will assist the organization in disseminating information, when that one go we can employ the services of another, we can get a laptop, provide office and a place to stay for the carpers so that our information can be going out to all members quickly, why the issues of the laptop was settled immediately by some of the members who volunteer to buy the it as soon as possible
The National Chairman OF ACAON, Alh. Scorpion Kola Adeyemi, harmed on Training and retraining of member’s day in day out, it was agreed that there will be training of members at the venue of the 19th Annual General Meeting of ACAON coming up on the 31st of January – 2nd of February next year, names of personnel for the training both physical and Theoritical training are; Scorpion Nnice Duzen, scorpion Okonkwo Kanayo, Scorpion Nwanchukwu Chuks and Scorpion Micheal Umah while for the Theoretical training are Dr. Kayode Joseph, Barr. Tunmise Olabisi, Barrt. Olamide Idowu, Dr. Babatunde, Prof. Lambe Adeyemi and Prof. Ayeni Oyebade among others, all members are advise to pay the sum of 5,000 for the 3days program. The meeting was put to a close at about 3pm while all member depart to their various destinations.
