Zone 2 Police Mourns Passing of DCP Khan Salihu, Commiserates With Lagos State Command

The Assistant Inspector-General of Police in charge of Zone 2 Headquarters, Onikan, Lagos, AIG Olohundare Moshood Jimoh, on behalf of the officers and men of Zone 2 Command Headquarters, expresses profound grief and heartfelt condolences to the Lagos State Police Command on the painful demise of Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Salihu Khan.
Until his passing, DCP Salihu Khan served as the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of the Department of Finance and Administration, Lagos State Police Command. His death has left a deep void within the Nigeria Police Force and among colleagues who had the privilege of serving with him.
AIG Olohundare Moshood Jimoh described the late officer as an exceptionally dutiful, disciplined, and highly professional police officer whose commitment to service, integrity, and dedication to duty earned him the admiration and respect of both superiors and subordinates. The AIG also stated that DCP Salihu Khan embodied the finest ideals of policing and remained steadfast in the discharge of his responsibilities throughout his distinguished career.
The AIG noted with profound sadness that the news of the officer’s demise came as a rude shock, adding that the Nigeria Police Force has lost a dependable administrator, a loyal colleague, and a committed public servant whose contributions to the growth and development of the Force will always be remembered.
AIG Olohundare Moshood Jimoh joins the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, the officers and men of the Lagos State Police Command, family members, friends, and colleagues in mourning this irreparable loss.
While praying for strength and comfort for the bereaved family and the entire police family during this difficult period, AIG Olohundare Jimoh prays that Almighty Allah, in His infinite mercy, forgives the shortcomings of the departed officer and grants him Al-Jannatul Firdaus.
May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace (Ameen).
