By Trek Africa Newspaper

In commemoration of the World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims (WDoR), the CEO of RAPNEC NG, Prince Ogu, has called for sustained efforts in implementing the UN Decade of Action 2021-2030 and the Global Plan of Action on Road Safety.
Speaking at the organization’s headquarters in Abuja, Prince Ogu commended the efforts of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), and called on the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), and other security agencies in the country to join the campaign of reducing road traffic accidents in Nigeria. However, he emphasized the need for other critical stakeholders, including the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), to join forces and work together to further reduce road traffic deaths and injuries in the country.
“The World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims is a sobering reminder of the devastating impact of road traffic accidents on families and communities,” Prince Ogu said. “We must continue to work together to prevent road traffic accidents and support those affected by them.”
