WOMEN FOR SWAGA APPRECIATES SEN. TINUBU WITH AWARD; TELLS HER NOT TO RELENT IN PROMOTING WOMEN

The Senator representing Lagos Central Senatorial District, Sen. Oluremi Shade Tinubu, OON was appreciated last week for her sterling contribution to nation building on the floor of the Red Chambers as well as her support for the development of women in politics, business, and private sector. This award was presented by a sociopolitical group, Women for Southwest Agenda for Asiwaju (SWAGA).
The group was launched in Lagos last week and will soon be floated in other states. It has the the aim to ensure Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu scale through the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primaries as the party’s flagbearer this May as well as eventually emerge as the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria come 2023.

The Special Awards Ceremony had in attendance Mrs. Alawiye King who represented Senator Oluremi Tinubu OON; the wife of Lagos State Governor, Mrs. Ibijoke Sanwo-olu; the wife of Lagos State Deputy Governor, Mrs. Oluremi Hamzat; former Women Leader for APC Southwest, Chief Kemi Nelson; Commissioner for Wealth Creation, Lagos, Mrs. Yetunde Arobieke; Commisioner for Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Mrs. Cecilia Bolaji Dada, immediate Past Women Leader, APC Lagos Central Senatorial District, Chief Fadekemi Otitonaiye, officers of the national body of Southwest Agenda for Asiwaju (SWAGA) and also from state chapters like Lagos, Osun, Rivers, Kogi etc., as well as COWLSO officials.
