Mr. Ahmad Sajoh

A Former Commissioner for Information in Adamawa state, Ahmad Sajoh has commended the strategic move made by the Nigerian police force, Lagos State Command to distribute biscuits and bottle water to protesters in Lagos, National Association of Online Security News Publishers, NAOSNP can report.

He praised this approach as a masterstroke, emphasizing the effectiveness of avoiding a confrontational response. He candidly acknowledged that resorting to force could have escalated the situation into a chaotic one. If you would recall that the Nigerian Police Force, Lagos Command shared biscuits and bottle water to protesters during a peaceful match protest by the NLC on the 27th of February.

Commissioner of Police, Lagos Command, CP Adegoke Fayoade (m); Deputy Commissioner of Police, DC Operations, DCP Fatai Tijani (2nd right) during the protest of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) in Lagos.

He said in an interview with Arise TV monitored by NAOSNP, ”Whoever advised the Nigerian police to share biscuits and bottle water to protesters should be lauded. That was a masterstroke. Let’s be honest, if the police had gone there after these people with the jackboot, with the guns, with the tear gas, it would have been a messy situation.”
