Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Wema Bank, Mr Segun Oloketuyi, has tasked students of the University of Lagos to embrace the use of Science and technology, which will not only make them providers of labour but, also great innovators.

Mr Oloketuyi, gave the charge at the 4th annual lecture of the Faculty of Science, University of Lagos on Wednesday.

Speaking on the topic, Impact of Science and Technology: The Way Forward for Nigeria, Mr Oloketuyi emphasized on the need for students to embrace science and technology that will make them solution providers and employers of labour thereby, contributing to the national social economy development of their country.

The Lecture which was held at the J. Ajayi main auditorium of the University, was attended by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Professor Folashade Olushola, who represented the Vice-Chancellor Professor Professor Oluwatoyin Ogundipe, the School Registrar, Dr. Mrs Taiwo Ipaye who gave the opening charge, MD/CEO Wema Bank Mr Segun Oloketuyi and Wife, the Dean of the Faculty of Medical Sciences Professor Adekunle, Management Staff of Wema Bank, the MD of Vitafoam, Mr. Tola Adeniyi, students of the Faculty and a host of others.
