He made the call on Thursday during the annual Lagos State Town Hall Meeting on Security, where government officials, security agencies, and community stakeholders gathered to review progress and chart new pathways for strengthening security across the state.
Dr. Ogunsan noted that while Lagos has recorded significant improvements in crime prevention, intelligence gathering, and rapid response operations, sustaining these gains requires collective responsibility. He emphasized: ‘in Lagos, we must stay vigilant and proactive ensuring that our responses are grounded in trust, partnership, and continuous improvement while reinforcing the need for stronger preventive structures, better intelligence, and more robust community engagement.’
