UWTF congratulates Ogunro On Appointment As New Mayor Of Islington, London

Uplifting Women Through Farming (UWTF), president and founder, Princess Afoma Ojei-Adigwe has congratulated British–Nigerian, Roseline Ogunro on appointment as Mayor of Islington, London.
Her appointment is said to have come just a year after Nigerian-born Jason made history as the first Nigerian-born mayor.
In a statement signed by Ojei-Adigwe, she
said: “My dear big sister and cousin, heartfelt congratulations on your emergence as the new Mayor of Islington, London. Your achievement does not come as a surprise to me because you have consistently distinguished yourself with excellence in all your endeavours.
“Your dedication, leadership, and commitment to service have truly earned you this remarkable position.
“As Nigerians celebrate you today, we at Uplifting Women Through Farming (UWTF) also join in celebrating this great milestone in your life and career.
“More also, the Ogboli Community and Issele-Uku in Delta State are greatly proud of their daughter for bringing honour and recognition to the community through your outstanding accomplishments.’’
While praying that her tenure would bring progress, unity, empowerment, and positive transformation to the people of Islington she added, “We are proud of your achievements and wish you greater success in all your future aspirations”.
