TREK AFRICA NEWSPAPER EDITOR CELEBRATES DAD AT 70

The editor of Trek Africa Newspaper, Abayomi Oyelami celebrated his dad, Elder John Boladale Oyelami as he hit the Platinum age of 70 over the weekend.

Clad in royal blue agbada, Elder John Boladale Oyelami (fondly called OBJ) celebrated the 70th birthday with a special Thanksgiving Service held at The Apostolic Church Nigeria Ajegunle Assembly, Agege Area, LAWNA Territory on Sunday 6th November, 2022. The service had family, friends, church members, neighbors, among others trooped into the church in celebration of the Grace, Goodness and Mercy which the man enjoyed.

Born 4th November, 1952 in Osun state,
Elder Oyelami worked in the Federal Civil Service with the Federal Ministry of Works and Housing, Ikoyi, Lagos before the rightsizing of the workforce. This was conducted by the Bureau of Public Service Reforms (BPSR) under the President Olusegun Obasanjo administration in 2006. He has since worked as a freelance electrical engineer.

In his appreciation to his dad, the Editor of Trek Africa Newspaper, Abayomi Oyelami shared: ‘Tremendous man of God. Thank you for serving God unabashedly! Intensely exemplary Life! Reward days are here – days that are markers of the best days of your life.’

‘And it shall come to pass that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. For in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be those who escape, as the Lord has said, and among the survivors shall be those whom the Lord calls’ (Joel 2:32 ESV). God will continue to increase you!
