Tinubu’s sister in law denies being rushed abroad for treatment

Hon. (Mrs.) Lola Akande, the Lagos state commissioner for Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation and the elder sister of  Senator Olufemi Tinubu has denied being rushed abroad after falling ill.

She said she only had a mild issue with her health. That it was not something very serious.
She went further to say that she was not flown abroad has being alleged . That she is right here in Nigeria.

Hon. Akande told Trek Africa on Wednesday, July 25, 2018, when we put a call through to her.

Trek Africa gathered that Mrs. Akande collapsed during church service on Sunday, July 22 , 2018, and was rushed abroad for treatment.

Mrs Akande was a two term member of Lagos House of Assembly before her appointment as a commissioner in 2015.
The mother of three and grandmother of many is said to be eyeing  House of Representatives seat of Ikeja Federal constituency in 2019.
