The Nikkai Ceremony of Oyekanmi Elegushi & Eniola Oladundoye

The glamorous wedding ceremony of Oyekan Elegushi and Eniola Oladunjoye, had in attendance several dignitaries, family and friends, from far and near to witness the celebration of their love.

The event which was held at Landmark event centre Victoria Island Lagos state began with the Nikkai. There was a session of prayers held by Sheu Faruk Suleiman and other clerics. At this point, the bride’s family officially handed their daughter, Eniola Oladunjoye over to the groom’s family as tradition demanded.

After the Nikkai, family and friends moved to the reception, hall in landmark as it was decorated with hundreds of crimson flowers. Notable dignitaries who attended the ceremony were: Alhaji Musiliu Smith, Senator Biyi Durojaiye, Wife of Lagos State governor( Mrs Bolanle Ambode), Alhaja Sinatu Ojukutu(former deputy governor of Lagos state), Ooni of Ife, Former first lady of Lagos state (Mrs Abimbola Foshola), Otunba Gbenga Daniel and other personalities, Dangote, Otedola.

The master of ceremony for that day was Tee A, who made the ceremony quite enjoyable for guests. The reception began as the master of ceremony welcomed the guests and ushered the parents of the groom, who danced with family and friends to their seat.

Then the MC proceeded to usher in the parents of the bride as family and friends danced with them into the hall. Thereafter, the master of ceremony welcomed the chairman of the day, Alhaji Musiliu Smith.

The party however formally began when the couple, Mr and Mrs Oyekan Elegushi danced into the hall, trailed by the bride’s maids and groom’s men

Musicians who performed at this exclusive event were, Mr real, small doctor, Oriste Femi and many other artists.
