‘THE MOSES OF OUR GENERATION HAS ARRIVED’ – MAMA DIASPORA, TEMITOPE AJAYI • As Islamic clerics offer prayers for Asiwaju Tinubu, Nigeria

Islamic clerics have hinted that this is the time for Nigerians to offer continuous prayers for Nigeria especially as the citizenry expect a new dispensation under the presidency of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu come 29th May. They also urged everyone to come together for the peace and progress of Nigeria irrespective of party affiliations, tribal sentiments, and religious connection.
They made this appeal at the special thanksgiving and prayers organized by the United Nations Peace Ambassador, HRH Hajia Aminat Temitope Ajayi (Mama Diaspora).
Speaking with Trek Africa Newspaper at the prayer session which held in her residence, Hajia Aminat Temitope Ajayi aka. Mama Diaspora revealed: ‘What happened today is divine. I have always asked the alfas that come to my house to pray for peace since I am a UN Peace Ambassador and also Iya Adinni of my mosque. So we have been praying ceaselessly and as it would happen, the Almighty Allah made it happen for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to be President.’
‘This month of Ramadan also, they said they will come and pray in my house. We had fixed this day for that prayer and then I saw the press release by Tunde Rahman that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu wants everyone to pray for him on his birthday, so this is divine. Almighty Allah changed our gears’
Queen Mother Ajayi pleaded with Nigerians to work for the progress of the country after the elections. ‘I am urging all Nigerians irrespective of party affiliation that God has already given us a leader. Everybody should come together so that we can support him to succeed. The opposition politicians should suck it in and support this new government.’
‘I have known my brother for over 40 years, he has been for democracy. We ran out of this country together on this battle for democracy. All that we have been wanting have started coming, can you imagine that foreign investors have been telling me ‘Queen mother, we are ready to come to Nigeria now’, she told Trek Africa Newspaper.
Advising the President-elect Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, she said: ‘I appeal to the President-elect to allow the young adults to come into his government. We should use the intellect of youths. I founded The Iconic Women of Substance, a lobbying group to stand for the interest of women and youths. I have reached the apex of my career, we need to help our youths. Finally the Moses of our generation has arrived.’

Also speaking, the Chief Imam of Kosofeland, Sheikh Aminulai Faki shared: ‘We are here to give thanks and glory to God. We thank God that the person we voted for was given to us because it used to happen in this country that you will vote for somebody and they won’t give it to you. We are here to pray for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. We like him, he is hardworking and competent. There is politics in Islam, majority carries the vote. We know it is not everyone that will be happy about it but we want to appeal to them that they should look at what he can do.’
‘We pray that God will guide Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, all good things we are expecting from him he will do it and Nigeria will be a country to be proud of. We pray that the people that will surround him will give him good advice, they will not be bad cabal. God will give him sound health, long life, and prosperity. I pray for Hajia Aminat Ajayi that God will give her good health and her relationship with Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu will continue to be harmonious’, Trek Africa Newspaper gathered.
On his part, the founder of Aseyorinitemi Islamic Foundation, Sheikh Mufutau Aremu Aseyorinitemi said: ‘We are here to thank God for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his 71st birthday and for also becoming President. Many times our mother, Hajia Aminat Ajayi will call us to pray for him to become President and we thank God that it has happened. We are here to thank God. We are praying for Nigeria that discrimination, poverty, fuel scarcity, naira scarcity wil end during the tenure of our President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and progress will be for Nigeria.’
Several women joined the special thanksgiving and prayer session. Among them were Hajia Idayat Bolanle Muse, President of Bomara Group and Vice-Chairman of Tinubu/Shettima Maritime Group and Alhaja Olabisi Eletu, National President of Navigation 360 Foundation and member of APC-Presidential Campaign Council.
The President of Bomara Group and Vice-Chairman of Tinubu/Shettima Maritime Group, Hajia Idayat Bolanle Muse remarked: ‘The prayer we are offering is for our President-elect Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and for our country Nigeria in this holy month of Ramadan. Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a man of honour, good leader, and father of all. We thank God for His glory. We thank God for giving us a President.’
Also National President of Navigation 360 Foundation and member of APC-PCC, Alhaja Olabisi Eletu hinted: ‘We are using this day to thank God for allowing our father to clock 71. We also thank God for Nigeria. All the prayers that’s been offered by the alfas, may it be answered.’
‘May his first 4 years be comfort for us, likewise the 2nd term. I also use this opportunity to thank Nigerians for voting Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, may we all enjoy the benefits of it. We pray for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu that all he has promised Nigerians, he will be able to do it, he will not lose his wife, children. We will all enjoy the benefits of his tenure.’
