The T.H.E.M.E.S. agenda, the six pillars upon which the governance strides of Gov. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu is built has enjoyed resounding accolades from stakeholders in the education sector. Also, the EkoEXCEL programme which is leveraging technology to equip teachers was hailed as a game changer for better learning outcomes in public primary schools. In my LGA, I can tell that 5 primary schools have been touched with total renovation. The classrooms are being equipped.’
‘As Education Secretary, we monitor basic schools and tell our LGA/LCDA chairmen that primary schools belong to them to manage. If they follow the T.H.E.M.E.S. agenda, Lagos will be better’, he advised the newly elected LG/LCDA chairmen in Lagos state.

The Chairman of NUT, Ikeja branch, Comr. Tola Gbagba asserted: ‘I want to believe that the Governor is doing his best but he is not the type that blows his trumpet. Going to schools and seeing the reformation happening everywhere. The EkoEXCEL programme is a laudable programme that when fully executed will be a turnaround for Lagos state education.’
