SUPER LEADER CHIEF SOLOMON OGBONNA PUTTING SMILES ON FACES OF LESS PRIVILEGED

When High Chief Solomon Aguene Ogbonna was born some years ago in his Community in Ebonyi State, probably his parents may not know destiny had bestowed their son with the heart of gold and gift of taking care of the less privileged in the society.
P.M EXPRESS reports that Chief Ogbonna is a typical phenomenon, who would easily be described as “charity begins from home icon”, and indeed has been putting smile on the faces in his family, kindred, villages, towns, states and indeed Nigeria.
The former President of Igbo Speaking Community, Lagos State, Chief Chris Ekwilo, described Chief Ogbonna as prayers answered by God to the Igbo when he took over the leadership of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Lagos State.
The youths, widows, elderly men and women are happy with Chief Ogbonna for providing their pressing needs and sponsoring health facilities that take care of their health challenges. The poor sing praises of Ogbonna because he provides them with food items as well as making life meaningful and the churches are not left out of the benevolence of Chief Ogbonna.
He is an astute and successful humble business man and a leader per excellence, who takes practical steps and endeavours to lead by example in Ohanaeze as an organisation in Lagos State.
Chief Ogbonna is a lover of football and patron of Nigeria Football Supporters Club. He was elected as the President of Ohanaeze three years ago and he took bold steps to change the narratives in Lagos State.
Hinting about his strides, Ogbonna said: “When I was elected as the President of the Ohanaeze, the first step I took was to get befitting Igbo Secretariat, known as Igbo House, location at James Robinson Street in Surulere, Lagos. I then moved further to build a cordial relationship between the Lagos State Government and the Igbo people, which has brought peace and unity among other ethnic groups in Lagos State and was open to Igbo people and they realized that I was honest with them and they believed and trusted me as their leader”.
Chief Ogbonna has created the Igbo structure from the Ward level to the State level, which has given effective communication among the Igbo in Lagos State which he has used to build bridges of peace among other tribes. He has made peace among the warring Igbo people and restored peace, no wonder he is popularly known as Peace maker.
The Ohanaeze Chieftain believes so much in Igbo people; has been passionate about their welfare and always making himself accessible, willing to assist whenever his attention is drawn concerning the well being of any Igbo person.
Chief Ogbonna is a champion in grassroots mobilisation, who defies the unprogressive and believes so much in service to the people. He is reputed to have so much passion to alleviate the problems of the people through quality service delivery and it is obviously clear that the cap fits him to continue to lead Ndigbo in Lagos State as the Apex leader for consolidation of the Igbo stakes in the State.
