SULAIMON OLUMEGBON, A SUN SET AT NOON ~SOMOLU LG CHAIRMAN ‘DULLAR’

By Trek Africa Newspaper

The news of the death of a vibrant and enterprising young man in Somolu who was murdered by armed robbers at his residence in Ajose street, on Friday met me in a rude shock.

Sulaimon OLUMEGBON, a graduate of Quantity Surveying from University of Lagos, Akoka is known to be humble, creative and innovative.

The hardworking young man who was survived by his lovely married wife and two sons, has so much dream for his family but his life was cut short by men of the underworld who came to perpetrate their evil around Sulaimon’s residents.

This is to affirm to the citizens of Somolu that we won’t relent in ensuring security of life and property matter to us. For a better policing of our communities, we need to work together.

Residents should alert the security agencies when they observe any questionable or fiendish moves nearby their vicinities. We should take it upon ourselves to make better familiarization within, for safety measures and to be security conscious at all time. Be rest assured that all the criminals will be brought to book, as investigation still ongoing and more arrest is been made.

Indeed, Sulaiman is gone from our sight, but never from our hearts. To parents, siblings and friends of Sulaimon, let’s endeavour to take refuge in Allah as _“It is from Allah we come from and it is to him we shall return.”_

May Almighty Allah bless and purify the soul of Sulaimon Olumegbon, give his grieving family the fortitude, strength and firmness to bear the saddening loss, and may He extol him high in Al-Janah Firdaus, Aaamin.
