Solomon Arase: Police Flag Flies Half-Mast As IGP Egbetokun Signs Condolence Register In Honor Of Ex-IGP

The Nigeria Police Force has opened a condolence register at its headquarters in Abuja to honor the late Solomon Arase, the 18th indigenous Inspector-General of Police, who died on August 31 at the age of 69
According to this medium, the tribute was led by the current Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, as senior officers and staff gathered at Louis Edet House to sign the register and pay their respects to the former police chief.
In a statement issued on Monday through its official X handle, the Force described Arase as a revered leader whose legacy will be remembered across all commands and formations nationwide. It added that the Police flag will fly at half-mast in his honor as part of a series of official memorials.
