SOLDIERS RESCUE TEN EXPATRIATES, FOUR NIGERIANS KIDNAPPED AT SEA

Troops of 6 Division, Nigerian Army on Saturday rescued ten expatriate workers and four Nigerians who were kidnapped by sea pirates off the Coast of Gabon recently.

In a press statement late Saturday, the Director of Army Public Relations, Brigadier-General M.M. Yerima, said the rescue operation was carried out successfully as there was no ugly incident or casualties. He added that the rescued victims would be handed over to law enforcement agents for further profiling before they are released to their loved ones.
