Sokoto Governor, Tambuwal Appoints New SSG

Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal has appointed the immediate past Commissioner for Finance, Sa’idu Umar as the Secretary to the State Government (SSG).

This was contained in a statement released by the Director General, Media and Public Affairs to the Governor, Malam Abubakar Shekara, on Thursday in Sokoto.

Umar was the immediate-past Commissioner of Finance in the State.

Shekara further disclosed that the Governor also reappointed Muktar Magori as his Chief of Staff.

He quoted the governor as congratulating the two new appointees and enjoined them to re-dedicate themselves to the service of the people.
