Single Ladies Advocacy: Diri’s Aide vows to take legal action against alleged smear campaigners in Bayelsa

Founder of the Single Ladies Forum, Hon. Awudumu Reigneth Audu Favour, has raised an alarm over alleged plan by some persons to embark on a smear campaign against the advocacy work of her foundation and smear her personality over unfounded claims on the social media.
Hon. Awudumu Reigneth Audu Favour, who is also an aide to the State Governor, Senator Douye Diri,has identified one Hon. Bright Adoewori, Ada Spiff, MaryJ Eteli, Mr Bobby Ugo and publisher of the NaijaInfo as those behind the smear campaign, insisting that the threats of blackmail and attack, have left her distrust and mentally disoriented, saying the planned attack is unwarranted, provocative and criminal.
She stated that the allege smear campaign started over the advocacy campaign embarked upon the Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO), the Single Ladies Forum, as part of the activities to flag off it’s maiden Valentine’s Day Outreach themed ” A Motherly Voice : The Future of a Moral Society” expected to be held on February 14th, 2023.
According to her, contrary to the wicked blackmail and name calling by these identified cyber stalkers, the Single Ladies Forum is a non-political and social group that accord recognition to hardworking young Ladies across the 8 LGA’s of Bayelsa state, “We are into enducating, promoting and developings young females to be self reliant through learning of various Skills.”
As part of our belief as Single Ladies,an injury for One is an injury for all, we are voices to the teens.These Cyber stalkers, instead of raising balanced objections to the formation of the group, are using other unidentified characters and derogatory terms to castigate members on the social media.”
“These identified elements went further in their smear campaign by calling me derogatory names.They went further to label me a lesbian, hookup girls and they recruited others on social media on their campaign of wickedness against my person just because we started a forum they could not.”
Hon. Awudumu Reigneth Audu Favour however announced that she has reached out for legal advice and ready to file a case of allege cyber stalking against those persons identified and those hired for the dirty job,” we are submitting a petition before the State Police Command against the identified persons and ready to seek legal redress a court of law,” I want to draw the attention of the general public to the ongoing smear campaign, it is wicked and mischievous plan by the identified person to bring the disrepute to the credible and commendable works of the Single Ladies Forum to the people of the state and the region.”
“I have given them up to 24 hours for them to prove that I am a lesbian, hook up girl and all other negative statements used on my name or do a public apology on their social media pages and two National Dailies or face a law suit”.
The Single Ladies Forum is reputable Non-Governmental organization engaged in humanitarian services within Bayelsa and outside Bayelsa state. The Single Ladies Forum (SLF) maiden Valentine’s Day Outreach themed ” A Motherly Voice : The Future of a Moral Society” is expected to be held on February 14th,2023.and it will be a gathering of Single and hardworking Bayelsans in the State, to give back to the society.
