Disgraced American rapper and music executive Sean Combs, also known as Diddy, has reportedly been removed from suicide watch.
Trek Africa Newspaper recalls that Diddy was placed on suicide watch in prison after his arrest on September 16 by Homeland Security on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, and interstate transportation for prostitution.
In a report published on September 29, People revealed that a law enforcement source confirmed the rapper is no longer on suicide watch.
Another source shared that Diddy has had visits from family members while in custody, where he remains until his court appearance in early October.
“He is focused and very strong. He is concentrating on his defense and preparing for his trial,” People quoted Diddy’s lawyer as saying.
During a raid on Diddy’s Beverly Hills mansion in March, federal officers confiscated supplies allegedly intended for orgies known as “freak offs,” including drugs and over 1,000 bottles of baby oil.
Diddy’s lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, explained in a TMZ Studios documentary titled The Downfall of Diddy: The Indictment that his client buys baby oil in bulk from Costco, though the company denied this claim.
Diddy has denied all charges, entering a not-guilty plea on September 17. However, the Bad Boy Records founder’s bail request has been denied twice.
