Rotary Club Of Mushin Golden Lift Up The Mood Of Community

Last week Thursday proved to be a beautiful and colourful event-filled day for members of the Rotary Club of Mushin Golden district upheld that tradition in grand style all through their activities last week.

They began a train-like movement with a corporate visit to Courteville Business Solution Plc (Owner of Autoreg) led by District Governor, Rotn. Wale Ogunbadejo and the Club President, Rotn. Ayoade Adeyemi who where received by the GMD, Dr. Bola Akindele and the Management and presented with the Rotary club Four Wheel Test Certificate. Then, they proceeded to officially kick start the Rotary club of Courteville, Yaba by the DG, Rotn. Ogunbadejo and the team while, Rotary club of Mushin Golden made impact on the Disabled Children of Cheshire Home by donating food items, bed, personal care products and clothing to the home who accepted the gifts with smiles all over their faces.

 

 

The District Governor commended activities of the home and addressed the children: “We are happily gathered here today to give our little token to the home. No matter what the government is giving the home, it can never compensate the activities of the staff and management of the home. This environment is ideal to raising brilliant minds and future leaders.”

Moving on with their train of activities, the next stop was the compound hosting the prominent Primary school in Mushin area; Ajumoni Secondary school. The Club again displayed their passion to reform the world and inspire education by commissioning a whole refurbished library block fully equipped with books to replace the old dilapidated block.

Where they also, did some Trees planting and presentation of Charter Certificate to Interact club of Ajumoni secondary school and Interact Club of New State High School by the District Governor, Dr. Ogunbadejo.

 

 

The day activities were rounded off with Foundation Laying ceremony of 10rooms toilets facility for Suba Junior secondary school by the DG, School Principal and PSP Mushin Golden.

According to the club president, Rotn. Ayoade Adeyemi, he said, “We intend to make our own contributions to society and make it a better place.” He said, Rotarians are professionals across the world, who are passionate about the society and give to communities and causes without looking back.
