RESTRICTIONS: Clampdown On ‘Okada’ Continues In Lagos

The Lagos State Task Force has intensified its effort to ensure a total clear out of commercial motorcyclists known as Okada in the state.
Operatives of the Lagos State Task Force yesterday, stormed Cele Bus Stop and Okota Road in a bid to enforce restrictions on Okada riders.
Guardian reported that gunshots were fired by operatives of the Lagos State taskforce to chase down violators of the highway restrictions.

It was gathered that the shooting caused pandemonium as residents and passers-by who witnessed the gunshot scampered to safety.
However, the Lagos State Taskforce in a tweet confirmed that it embarked on a raid in Cele Bus-stop, Okota Road, Apple Junction and Mushin Road as it impounded 90 motorcycles.
