PRINCE KAZEEM ELETU ODIBO FOUNDATION SUPPORT WORLD BOOK DAY EVENT

In furtherance of its objectives to help humanity, Prince Kazeem Eletu Odibo Foundation partnered the TOS Educational Initiative to host World Book Day event recently at the Jakande Johnson Tinubu (JJT) park, Alausa, Ikeja. This is aimed at improving reading culture among Nigerians.
Speaking at the event on the importance of the partnership, Mrs Adebayo Omobolanle, Managing Director, Prince Kazeem Eletu Odibo Foundation stated: ‘It is a great initiative that will encourage children to read. As readers are leaders, we at Prince Kazeem Eletu Odibo Foundation are happy to be part of this move. This is because it is core to our own objective to impact human life.’

Further speaking about the idea of the foundation, she said: ‘Prince Kazeem Eletu Odibo himself is the brain behind the foundation. Due to the background of the man Prince Kazeem having once been a bus conductor living in Ajegunle not knowing he had a rich father. He decided that instead of lavishing God’s blessing in his life, he would have compassion on people remembering his past condition, hence the establishment of the foundation. We help humanity, we help youths to discover their talents in sports through sporting competitions, we empower artisans just like we did recently and also support education.’
In the same vein, Prince Lateef Ojora, Director of Sports, Prince Kazeem Eletu Odibo Foundation added: ‘In the sports directorate, we help youths discover their sporting talent and when such is done, we give the youths opportunity to travel abroad to improve their skills. For example, we have three youths from previous competitions who are now in Chelsea in England, Cologne in Germany, and Portugal who are being helped by the foundation. Our effort here is to inculcate reading habits in our youths and children so that they can have a sound footing in life and career.’
Also speaking about the personality of the founder, Prince Ojora said: ‘Prince Kazeem, I can tell you is a philanthropist par excellence and whenever we talk humanity, he will be there. You will not be able to identify him specially among his staff because of his level of simplicity. He has never forgotten his past experiences, hence, he can bring smiles to faces. In fact, some people in Eti-osa are agitating that they will buy candidacy form to vie for House of Representatives seat in 2023 for him. This is to show the massive admiration that people have for the man. He is definitely a man much appreciated for the good work he is doing.
