PRESIDENT TINUBU HAILS NAF’S EFFORTS IN ONGOING COUNTER-TERRORISM OPERATIONS

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, was represented by the Senate President,Senator Godswill Akpabio as Special Guest of Honour at the unveiling of the book, ‘Terrorism and Counterterrorism in Northeast Nigeria: Emerging Perspectives and the Imperative of Air Power’. The event witnessed a large turnout that included the Governor Babagana Zulum of Borno State, Service Chiefs, General Lucky Irabor Rtd, Air Mshl Oladayo Amao and several others.
In their goodwill messages, the President and other dignitaries were unanimous in singling out NAF’s airpower capabilities as key enablers in ongoing counterinsurgency and counterterrorism operations in Northern Nigeria.
