The visit of Chief Solomon Ogbonna Aguene the President Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos State with Prince Adeniyi OLUTIMEHIN, President, Greater Lagos Initiative to the palace of Oba Olufolarin Olukayode Ogunsanwo (The Alara of Ilara Kingdom & Vice Chairman, Lagos State Council of Obas and Chiefs) to support the new build up of Ndigbo with this administration of Governor Babajide Sanwolu.
The number one Igbo man in Lagos Chief Solomon Ogbonna Aguene stated that ndigbo have gotten it right this time by supporting the ruling party of Lagos Governor Babajide Sanwolu who is a God-fearing leader. Ndigbo in Lagos and outside Lagos will continue to support him.
The leader of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos State Chief Solomon Ogbonna Aguene further stated during the visit that his advice to Ndigbo especially when a general assemble meeting of Ohanaeze Ndigbo in Lagos is held, I always say to my people to be law abiding and respect the culture and tradition of our host community (the yorubas) very important. Lagos is man’s land not no man’s land as some state. I also ask my people ‘what can we contribute to our host community and not only what we can take’ so that in no distant time all of us will benefit what will stand the test of time especially to have genuine love for one another.
