POLICE ‘LL CONTINUE TO WORK IN PARTNERSHIP WITH NIGERIA NAVY TO COMBAT CRIME -SAYS AIG ILIYASU

The Assistant Inspector-General of Police incharge of Zone2 Onikan Lagos, AIG Ahmed Iliyasu psc+ has reiterated the commitment and readiness of the Zone to continue synergize in partnership and collaboration with Nigeria Navy in combating crime and criminality with the best practices using Community Policing Strategy and to maintain a harmonious working relationship.

Iliyasu disclosed this when the newly appointed Flag Officer Commanding (FOC) Naval Training Command Rear Admiral FF Ogu GSS, psc fwc (USNWC) BSc, MA, FNIM, on Friday, June 26, 2020, visited him in his office.

The visit, according to the Zonal Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Hauwa Idris-Adamu was to consolidate on the existing synergy between Nigerian Navy and the Nigerian Police in ensuring the security of lives and properties.
