The strategic meeting on MSMEs was hosted by the Honourable Minister of State, Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment, Mariam Katagum, with heads of government agencies present.
According to Mr. Segun Awolowo, “It was a great oppotunity to see my colleagues the Managing Director of Bank of Industry, Olukayode Pitan, the Director General SMEDAN, Dr. Dikko Umaru Radda, the Director General of the Industrial Trust Fund, Sir Joseph Ari, the Director General of the Standards Organisations of Nigeria, Osita Anthony Aboloma and the Special Adviser to Vice President on MSMEs, Tola Johnson”, he stated.
He further added, “MSMEs are the backbone of the economy and we must do more to support them”. Awolowo recognise the urgency of this task and look forward to working with the Ministry and other government agencies on helping MSMEs thrive and flourish in Nigeria.
