The Inspector General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba has received the High Commissioner of the Republic of Zambia to Nigeria, Dr. Solomon Jere at the Force headquarters in Abuja.
In a press statement released to the National Association of Online Security News Publishers (NAOSNP) by the Deputy Force Police Public Relations Officers, CSP Aremu Adeniran stated that, “The Inspector General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba, psc (+), NPM, fdc, today 4th November, 2021, received His Excellency, Dr. Solomon Jere, the High Commissioner of the Republic of Zambia to Nigeria, at the Force Headquarters, Abuja. The visitor was on a courtesy visit to the IGP as part of ongoing discussions to strengthen bilateral relationship between Nigeria and Zambia, particularly ones touching on policing and internal security. He commended the efforts of the NPF leadership in the area of border security, combatting cybercrime, kidnapping and other violent crimes.”
