Owase Launches Community Forum Towards Capacity Development

National attention to rapid socio-economic development of Owase Community, Oka -Akoko has grown in recent months, especially since the formation of Owase Community Professionals Forum (OCPF), which is already making giant strides in infrastructural developments across their hometown.
The Owase Community Professionals Forum (OCPF) continue to make headlines with innovative concepts of giving back to society, through their most progressive alliance that is geared towards keeping the culture, interest and unity of Owase natives at the heart of everything they do.
Established among the Shifa lineage, of the three most pronounced ancestral quarters (Shifa, Shirun and Sirin) in Oka land, Ondo state, national attention is continually drawn to notable development across the Owase community in recent months, especially since the formation of Owase Community Professionals Forum (OCPF) in early 2021.
Despite being a thriving community of skillful artisans, farmers, fashion designers and traders, the Owase community also boasts of renowned Professors, Lecturers, Lawyers, Teachers, Entrepreneurs, Engineers, Doctors and Directors of Service.
The Owase Community Professionals Forum have brought to forefront the concept of giving back to society, through an alliance that is geared towards keeping the culture, progress and unity of Owase at the heart of everything they do.
Responsible for several internal developments, including the ongoing construction of the town hall, and timely provision of palliative (cash and kind)to the less privileged during the Covid19 saga, the OCPF has also been of great assistance towards indigenous youths both in and out of school through payment of school fees for those in school and training those out of school in their choice vocations.
The Owase Community Professionals Forum was founded in August 2020, as a non governmental organization with an engine room of ideas, that will champion the course of Owase indigenes at local, national and international levels, thereby creating opportunities for indigenes to achieve their dreams and aspirations, as well as spiritual reawakening and sociopolitical orientation.
Also through seminars and workshop organized early last year, the forum has been of great help to farmers within the community by providing them with necessary farm tools and support. Photos available on ocpf.com.ng
As part of its inaugural activities, the OCPF visited the Palace of Olubaka of Oka land, Oba (Dr) Yusuf Adebori Adekeye OON and Olowase of Owase, High Chief William Ajakaiye same day, Aug 4, 2020. The visit was a huge success.
The OCPF delegates including Dr Benard Omoyeni (OCPF National Coordinator), Prof Deji Gbore (OCPF Home Front Coordinator), and Mr. Sunday Ajobiewe (OCPF Fin Secretary) led by Pastor Sola Ologun (Board of Trustee Rep)visited the Palace to formally introduce the OCPF and its vision to the Paramount Ruler of Oka kingdom HRM Oba (Dr ) Yusuf Adebori Adeleye(OON), and High Chief Williams Ajakaiye, the Olowase of Owase Community, Oka.
The duo were elated to receive the OCPF delegation and commended the body for its visionary socio-economic development of Owase and Oka land.
The Royal fathers gave their blessings and promised to support the Forum to accomplish its vision.

development of Owase Community through provision of quality leadership, human resource mobilization for infrastructural development and empowerment of our youths for educational advancement and entrepreneurial exploits, the OCPF maintains the vision of galvanizing their professional diversities, to create a formidable platform to advance the human capital development and socio-economic advancement of Owase Community.
