All is set for the fourth (4) edition of the annual Trek Africa Entrepreneurship Conference! The high-powered event is primed on the recent Brookings Institution survey that proclaimed Nigeria as the new poverty capital of the world with nearly 50% of its citizens living below the extreme poverty benchmark and the World Poverty Clock (February 2019) which stated that the number has even increased to 91.16 million Nigerians.
Thus, the conference is tagged ‘From Poverty Capital to Prosperity Capital: Entrepreneurship and Innovation as key drivers Of Economic Transformation’ to discuss strategies and policies that can lead to economic transformation.

At TAEC 2019, aspiring and emerging entrepreneurs, policy makers, youths, government agencies and captains of industry from diverse industries which has it focus on creating a better life for the teeming youths of Nigeria who are either seeking employment or aiming to start or upscale their business enterprise will meet, several topics will be broached by the conference speakers and in a panel session carefully selected from various sectors of the economy ranging from real estate, ICT, banking, agriculture and public service.
It is intended that Nigeria will come out better with insightful solutions on how to move from the famed poverty capital to the revered prosperity centre of the world.
