Osun Amotekun Corps Hold Passing Out Parade for New Recruits Friday, March 28th

As part of the ongoing effort to strengthen the security architecture in the State, the Osun Amotekun Corps is set to hold her passing out parade of it’s newly recruited personnel.
In a press statement e-signed and released to the National Association of Online Security News Publishers, NAOSNP by the Corps’ Public Relations Officer, Yusuf Idowu Abass stated that, “The Osun Amotekun Corps has officially announced that it will hold a Passing Out Parade for its new recruits on Friday, March 28th, 2025. A total of 1,150 new personnel will be completing their training as part of the ongoing efforts to strengthen the state’s security architecture.”

According to the statement, “The announcement was made by the Board Chairman of the Osun Amotekun Corps, AIG Wale Abass (Rtd), alongside the Corps Commander, Dr. Hon. Adekunle Isaac Omoyele, in a press statement made available to the newsmen in Osogbo on Wednesday. They revealed that the grand event is scheduled to take place at the NYSC Orientation Camp in Ede, Osun State, starting at 10:00 AM.”
“His Excellency, the Governor of Osun State, Sen. Asiwaju Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, will serve as the Chief Guest of Honour for the occasion. A number of distinguished personalities, including prominent figures from various sectors of society and royal fathers, have been invited to grace the event with their presence.”
“The new recruits, who commenced their intensive training on March 10th, 2025, have undergone a rigorous three-week program aimed at equipping them with the necessary skills to effectively contribute to the security and safety of Osun State.”
“The training is set to conclude with the highly anticipated Passing Out Parade on Friday.”
“This event marks a significant milestone for the Osun Amotekun Corps as it continues to play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and security of residents across the state.”
“The recruitment and subsequent training of these new recruits are part of the state government’s commitment to enhancing its security infrastructure and addressing emerging challenges in the fight against crime and insecurity.”
