OGUNSAN EXCITED ABOUT FAYOADE’S PROMOTION AS COMMISSIONER OF POLICE, DESIRES HIM ‘BACK TO LAGOS’

It was mixed feelings for the member of the board of Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF), Dr. Ayo Ogunsan at the send forth ceremony organized by the Nigeria Police, Lagos State Command under the leadership of CP Abiodun Alabi in honour of newly promoted CP Adegoke Fayoade and five others who were promoted and transferred out of Lagos Command. Trek Africa Newspaper can report that the ceremony held at the Police Officers Mess, Ikeja, Lagos on Thursday 17th November, 2022.
Paying accolades to CP Adegoke Fayoade, former Lagos State CID boss, the CEO of Executive Group, Dr. Ayo Ogunsan said: ‘I am excited to be here today. I pray that this would not be the last set, we would continue to witness more.’
‘For someone like me, I am not really releasing this people from my heart. I hope you understand what I am saying. Speaking from the angle of government, they have done well. We are saying you are going nowhere, you are coming back to Lagos.’

‘Fayoade did tremendously well at Panti. Ayilara was one of the people who helped us during Endsars to protect the State House. I pray that as they move higher in life, God will continue to help them.’
The gentleman officer, CP Adegoke Fayoade has resume his new role as Commissioner of Police in charge of armament at the Force HQ, Abuja. He thanked the LSSTF board member and security consultant, Dr. Ogunsan for ‘he has tremendously contributed to what we have as security in Lagos’.
In the same vein, he advised officers of the Lagos State Command to continue to uphold security in the country’s commercial nerve centre, ‘I want to tell the officers of Lagos State Command to keep the flag flying. When you are out of Lagos, anywhere you find yourself, you excel’, said CP Adegoke Fayoade.

Earlier, speaking about the new CP Adegoke Fayoade, Trek Africa Newspaper gathered from CP Alabi, ‘Fayoade has been my friend for the past 28 years. We have been navigating the problem of policing in Nigeria together. One particular interesting thing is that when he was getting married, I was his best man. I never knew I am coming to Lagos State Command but that is Providence. For the past 10 months, he has been working with me as subordinate and as friend. He has never let my relationship with him to be affected by his productivity. He didn’t abuse the familiarity. I want to thank God for the woman at the home because when you have rest of mind, you will be able to do what you are supposed to do.’
‘There is a great difference between DCP and CP, continue to be principled, avoid distraction, be steadfast. Congratulations again I wish you the best. We are just starting, we will get to the peak of our careers’, he advised Fayoade.
