Ogun Council Boss, Shomide Congratulates Former Governor, Osoba Over NIJ Appointment

Caretaker Chairman, Abeokuta South Local Government, Hon. Ayodeji Shomide has congratulated former governor of Ogun state and leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Aremo Olusegun Osoba on his recent appointment as the Chairman Governing Council Nigerian Institute of Journalism (NIJ).
Hon. Shomide referred to the appointment of the former Governor, Chief Osoba as a resonate of his wherewithal in journalism in the early 80s, which characterised his curiousness, resourcefulness and doggedness in his reportorial section which equally birthed him the honour as the Chairman Governing Council of NIJ
He Pressed that the appointment is a measure of stability and continuity in the journalism, added that NIJ is made up of eminent and well respected journalists who have contributed in various ways to the growth, development and upliftment of Nigeria.
The Council Boss posited that now that “our father, Chief Osoba is the Chairman Governing Council, stated that, he would bring his wealth of experience, adherence and respect for the rule of law in the journalistic practice in Nigeria as a whole”.
He, therefore rejoices with the erudite journalist, Chief Osoba on this well deserved appointment.
