NSCDC SPECIAL FEMALE SQUAD MAKES CG AHMED AUDI PROUD, AS CSC IMONIKHE BAGS AWARD

One of the loftiest innovations of the Commandant-General of National Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), CG Ahmed Abubakar Audi is the Special Female Squad. The Special Female Squad has lived up to expectation with their professional conduct and smartness in discharging the mandate given to them. National Association of Online Security News Publishers, NAOSNP can report that the task for the Squad includes improving the security and safety of school children and citizens in the grassroots against violence, cultism, sexual and drug abuse.
It is in the light of this that the NSCDC Special Female Squad National Headquarters, Abuja under the leadership of CSC Imonikhe Oluwakemi, National Female Squad Commander, has proven their mettle.

The unit has facilitated a strong synergy with sister agencies and built strong grassroot support by paying courtesy visits to stakeholders like the LGA chairmen, community chiefs, and management of Basic Education Board in the FCT.
Their activities led to the provision of security presence in schools, arrest of 100 people involved in job racketeering, helped to control major gridlock within the metropolis, and worked with drills and regimentation unit to achieving a great success in the October 1st National Parade.
Others are supervision of NSCDC Special Female Squad in the 36 states and joint patrol with men of the special force. They also created awareness and enlightenment programs in schools. This is to keep teachers and students abreast of security challenges facing the country and how to react to security threat if need arises.

For this grand efforts, the National Female Squad Commander, NSCDC Abuja, CSC Imonikhe Oluwakemi was conferred the Award of the Most Outstanding NSCDC Female Security Officer of the Year at the National CrimeWatch Awards 2022 which held recently in Lagos.
Speaking on the award in a brief chat with NAOSNP, CSC Imonikhe Oluwakemi was full of praises for the CG Audi for initiating and supporting the Squad with moral and material support which is making it to deliver in Abuja as well as the 36 states of the federation.
She noted that the award will further stimulate her and the entire team of the NSCDC National Female Squad in Abuja to greater successes.
