Nigeria’s fast-rising newspaper, Trek Africa Newspaper has joined many other dignitaries to celebrate the Senator representing the Lagos Central Senatorial District in the Red Chambers of the National Assembly, Sen. Pst. Oluremi Shade Tinubu as she turns 61 today 21st September 2021.

Describing her as Nigeria’s Champion for Social Good, Trek Africa Newspaper’s Publisher, Oki Samson Olatunji notes that the thoroughbred leader has demonstrated immense strength and dedication to the improvement of human capital of children, youths, women, and everyone in Nigeria through her involvement in the lawmaking process and humanitarian gestures.

Her resoluteness on social good birthed the New Era Foundation founded in 2000 and the Patience Home completed in 2019 to house childless widows. As direct impact to constituents in Lagos Central Senatorial District, Sen. Oluremi Tinubu also runs social impact programmes like Widows Economic Empowerment Scheme (WEES), Petty Traders Empowerment Capital Scheme (PETECS), Youth Empowerment and Skill Acquisition Scheme (YESAS), and Elderly Citizens Assistance Scheme (ECAS).
