‘Nigerians prefer this party’ — Wike asks PDP faction to bring back former members

Nyesom Wike, minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), has asked the national working committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), led by Abduraham Mohammed, to reach out to former members and encourage them to rejoin the party.
Wike spoke on Friday during a visit to the PDP national secretariat in Abuja.
The Wike-backed PDP faction took control of the party’s headquarters on April 10, months after the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) sealed the premises following a leadership crisis that turned violent.
