Nigerian Veteran Journalist, Sakin Is Dead

News reaching Trek Africa Newspaper confirmed that an Oyo-Based Veteran Journalist, Sakin Babalola Is Dead.

According to reports, the veteran journalist died on Wednesday morning at aged 73 after a brief illness.

He was the immediate past Editor of Oodua News newspaper, Ibadan and editor of Oodua News newspaper between 2016 to 2023.

He was a former staff with the defunct Sketch newspaper and has worked with several national dailies such as Newswatch Daily, Leadership newspaper, Legit.com as well as CityMirrorNews, online news platform before he became the Publisher of Spheres news online based in Ibadan, the Oyo state capital.
